Install MetaMask
  1. Go to metamask.io.
  2. Install the browser extension or the mobile app.
  3. Create a new wallet → save your seed phrase securely.

Add Base Network
  1. MetaMask → Settings → Networks → Add Network.
  2. Enter:

Save → switch network to Base.

Success: If you see “Base” at the top of MetaMask, you’re on Base L2.

Add ETH for Gas

You need a small amount of ETH on Base (gas is usually cents).

  1. Buy ETH on Coinbase (or any exchange that supports Base).
  2. Withdraw → choose Base network → send to your MetaMask address.
  3. Even $5 in ETH covers many transactions.
Tip: Gas must arrive on Base, not Ethereum mainnet.

Add USDC to Your Wallet
  1. Buy USDC on Coinbase.
  2. Withdraw → select Base network → send to your MetaMask Base address.
  3. If USDC doesn’t appear, click Import Tokens in MetaMask and use:

Secure Your Pre-Launch Position

Send the required USDC (on Base) from MetaMask to the official RYE Guardian/Admin wallet.

  • This USDC = your reserved position in RYE.
  • Keep your transaction hash (BaseScan link) as proof.
⚠️ Only use addresses published on the pre-launch dashboard.

Position Confirmation
  • Admin marks your slot Pending / Sold on the dashboard.
  • After launch, your wallet receives wRYE for your USDC position.
